For some reason we have been neglecting to update the site with recent matches and results, it should slowly get done in the course of the next week. Also the history page is almost fully compiled so we should see it finished by the end of next week.

Opponent: BioMedical FireBears Match date: February 23, 21:30 Match map: Bridge SE BDK Score: 10 BMFB Score: 8 BDK Roster: [AnimalMutha] [killaman] -=BDK=-LinkF1 -=BDK=-DarkPhalanx
BMFB Roster: .Lumin .layzie .Zoink .[nobody]-
Well, the top two undefeated teams in the Delta division took their perfect records into the dreaded Bridge SE territory. The last time we faced BMFB, we got our asses handed to us. We took some lessons from that last rendezvous, and worked on a few new things. We still went into this match with a lot of respect for our opponents who are always ready to give any squad a run for their money.
We were the chosen away team for this match, so we decided on taking Assault first. We knew our work would be cut out for us. We really wanted to take at least one game, just to put the pressure on them when it was their turn to Assault. We did so in the 5th game, giving us a huge boost in morale. We went into the second half trailing 6-1. We weren't too fazed by the turn of events.
Defense time for the BDK crew. We took the first two rounds without much trouble. The third game was another story however. The rushed us hard from the ledge and overran our hill defenses, leaving myself and open and completely at their mercy. It was a good lesson to learn for us. We never made that error in judgement again in regulation time. We played out the remainder of our turn on defense and the match finished tied 7-7 after regulation round-play.
Kill and KIA totals for the BDK crew after regulation time: [AnimalMutha] : 11-9 [killaman] : 11-5 -=BDK=-LinkF1 : 7-10 -=BDK=-DarkPhalanx : 8-8
OVERTIME
We went back on assault for 2 rounds, as per CAL overtime rules. We decided to take a page out of their book, and hit them hard and fast, which might have just caught them off guard. We won both of our assault rounds. As we swithced over to Defense, we were telling each other to play it conservatively. Link, blows it, and gets a little too deep for his own good, and promptly gets PWNFACED, leaving our defense group weakend at a crucial time. We lose that round. Now, we have to make sure that we don't blow this, so we agree to take things slower and more methodically. We win the final round which was a very close one indeed. Great games to BMFB who made us play at the top of our game in order to win this.
Overtime Kills and KIA totals for the BDK crew: [AnimalMutha] : 2-3 [killaman] : 5-0 -=BDK=-LinkF1 : 3-2 -=BDK=-DarkPhalanx : 3-2 |

BDK vs -=]VS[=-
Playing: TWL 4v4 Objective Ladder
Opponent: VirtualSoldiers Match date: February 15, 21:30 Match map: Collapsed Tunnel
Tonight, BaD Karma took on Virtual Soldiers in a matchup on Collapsed Tunnel. -=BDK=-'s lineup was one of new faces and old. For the most part, Tunnel isn't one of our most played maps, but we do have some pretty good strats, and they worked well for us tonight.
We started off the match on the wrong foot, losing a very close one after KoMa (M@k0) came very close to acing the side, giving -=[VS]=- a 1-0 lead. We pulled our stuff together and went at them hard.Going into the second half with a 4-2 lead, and finding ourselves on Defense. We won the first game while on D, as they had trouble getting through the door cleanly. They took the next game to make it 5-3. The next game saw killme and myself the last two alive against one of the VS soldiers. I rushed his position, and I flashed. At the same time, the VS soldier flashed as well, but it fell far short of it's intended target, allowing me to kill him with ease, taking the game.
Leading 6-3, killme finished of the match with a side clearing Ace. Great game all around.
GGs to the crew from -=[VS]=-.
Kill leader for this match was KoMa with 15, followed closely by killme, with 12.
BDK Score: 7 points -=]VS[=- Score: 3 points. BDK Roster: killme22, KoMa, Phoenix, DarkPhalanx
-=]VS[=- Roster: -=[VS]=-Jaded, -=[VS]=-Go4Broke, -=[VS]=-GCFire, .Semaz

Changes at -=BDK=-... |

Well, it's been an interesting month and a half to say the least. We lost some great players (Badboy, [killaman], and AnimalMutha), as they moved on to form a smaller squad of their own. We wish them all the best and look forward to gaming with them in the future.
As for us here at -=BDK=-, we have been busy ourselves. I've been in negotiations with Gumbe3rz and Liquidsmoke of Next Level and we've agreed to merge our squads and take part in the 6v6 Objective ladder. Next Level brings to the table great CQB skills and knowledge, whereas BadKarma still has a solid core of Outdoor map players. Both squads feel that this sort of a merge will benefit all of us, as it incorporates 2 squads with diverse skills and creates a solid competitive squad with the goal of moving ourselves up the ladder and taking no prisoners. Both squads will retain their own teams on the 4v4 Objective ladder, as well as BDK retaining their squad on the 2v2 Objective ladder.
BaD Karma also signed on two new players (-=BDK=-fear.bot, and -=BDK=-M@K0), and they will help fill two of the CQB spots vacated by the departing 3 players that we lost. Welcome aboard Fear and M@K0.
We all look forward to this new squad taking flight and doing as well as we envision it can.
